Introduction of Phenolic foam:
Phenolic foam is kind of rigid closedcell foam made by scientific formula of phenolic resin,
flame retardants, smoke suppressants, curing agent, foaming agent, and other additives
and other substances. Phenolic foam has been greatly developed in the last century
since the 90's , first attentioned by the British, the United States and other national military,
and applied in aerospace, defense and military fields, and later expanded to civil aircraft,
ships, stations, wells and fields where there is strict fire protection, then gradually to the
hospital, sports facilities, residential buildings and other public and civil construction areas.
Features of Phenolic foam:
Fire-resistance
Under 1000℃ flame spray , no flame spread, only surface carbonation, low smoke, no harmful
gases release, no pyrolysis dripping, fire test conformation to GB86242012 , standard B1 level,
ASTM E84 standard A level, AS / NZS1530 standard 0 level.
Green:
The phenolic foam we manufactured does not use halogen and chlo rofluorocarbons as foaming agents, no destroying
the ozone layer. And products are fiberfree, there will have no harmlness to human body
Water and moisture resistance:
Phenolic foam is kind of closed-cell structural foam with good resistance to water absorption of moisture absorption.
Heat insulation:
Phenolic foam's thermal conductivity less than 0.025w / (m.k), thermal insulation performance is
better than the normal rock, glass foam, EPS, XPS, PU and other traditional insulation materials.
Wide temperature use range from -260℃ up to 150℃, also are better than other insulation materials.
Sound insulation:
Phenolic foam is closed-cell foam with good sound insulation, the noise insulation performance
of phenolic foam with a thickness of 5cm can reach more than 35 dB.
Corrosion-resistance, aging-resistance:
excellent properties of resistance to chemical corrosion and anti-aging , especially to organic
solvents, strong acid, weak acid, weak alkali corrosion.
Dimensional stability:
Phenolic foam has good dimensional stability (less than 0.5%), belonging to thermosetting materials.
Good dimensional stability can solve the system material compatibility issues like cement mortar and
other building materials to ensure the same life with the building.
Low thermal diffusion coefficientVery:
low thermal diffusion coefficient means a very slow speed heat transmission capacity,
thus improve the actual thermal insulation effect.
